Step-by-Step Guide
1
Download the myAir app. Search for myAir in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Install the free app from ResMed. Create a myAir account using your email address.
2
Enable Bluetooth on your AirSense 11. The AirSense 11 has Bluetooth built in. On the machine's touchscreen, swipe down from the top of the screen to access the Quick Settings panel. Ensure Bluetooth is turned on. The AirSense 10 does not use Bluetooth — it uploads via a built-in cellular modem (in regions where cellular is enabled) or via a USB SD card.
3
Pair the app with your machine. In the myAir app, go to Settings → Add Device. Follow the on-screen pairing instructions. Your AirSense 11 will show a pairing code on its screen — enter this in the app to complete pairing.
4
If pairing fails — reset Bluetooth on both devices. On your phone, go to Settings → Bluetooth and forget the ResMed device. On the AirSense 11, go to Settings → Connectivity and select Reset Bluetooth. Then re-attempt pairing from scratch.
5
Check the upload history. In the myAir app, tap your score card for last night. If data shows "No data recorded," the machine may not have finished uploading. AirSense 11 uploads data via Bluetooth when your phone is nearby during a sync window — usually shortly after you wake up. Keep your phone within 10 feet of the machine for a few minutes after your therapy session.
6
For AirSense 10 users without cellular. Some AirSense 10 units use a cellular data card (AirView platform). If yours does not have cellular, your DME provider can enroll your machine in AirView for remote monitoring. This is free and does not require a smartphone.
7
View your score breakdown. myAir scores 0–100 each night based on four factors: usage hours, mask fit, events per hour, and mask on/off count. A score of 70 or above is considered good therapy. If your score is consistently below 70, review your leak rate and consider talking to your provider about pressure adjustments.
